D&A Managing Partner presents at the SVG Credit Union League Symposium

On Friday, August 14, 2015, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Co-operative League convened a Board of Directors and Supervisors Development Symposium at the Catholic Pastoral Centre at Edinboro in Kingstown, SVG.

DeFreitas & Associates (D&A) Managing Partner, Mr. Stanley DeFreitas, was invited to make a presentation on “Governance and other Key Issues under the Banking Act of Relevance to Credit Unions”.

Other speakers at the symposium included representatives of the Grenada Authority for the Regulation of Financial Institutions GARFIN), the SVG Financial Services Authority, and the SVG Financial Intelligence Unit.
