DeFreitas & Associates Professional Development Update

DeFreitas & Associates (D&A) is proud to provide an update in its efforts in continuing professional development activities not only mandated by various professional accounting bodies but to ensure that clients are being served by professionally trained persons who are up-to-date with the most recent trends and changes in accounting and/or auditing standards, taxation and overall business management.

On May 3, 2017, Stanley DeFreitas from D&A participated in an IFRS training session hosted by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Co-Operative League Ltd (SVG CUL) in collaboration with BDO Eastern Caribbean,  that highlighted updates to IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.  The session was held at Frenches House in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

D&A would like to commend the SVG CUL for hosting a productive training session.

On May 25, 2017, Stan DeFreitas from D&A participated in a webinar hosted by the Taxlinked.net,  an online community for tax and law professionals, that was focused on the Non-Dom Tax Regimes in Europe
