Important Dates to Remember – Tax Time is Fast Approaching in Canada

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is our usual time of year when our firm reminds all our friends and clients in Canada about the important dates surrounding the filing of your 2014 tax return.

The due date for most 2014 personal income tax returns is April 30, 2015.

The deadline for RRSP contributions for the 2013 tax year is Monday March 2, 2015.

Personal income tax returns, except for those of self-employed individuals, were due by April 30th, as is any amount owing.  Penalties and interest may be charged for late returns or late payments.

Self-employed individuals have until June 15th to file their personal tax returns, but any amounts owing must still be paid by April 30th.
